The Economic Development office is here to connect business owners to valuable programs and resources that support growth and resiliency. Below are links to programs that benefit businesses within Richland. Explore our grant programs to improve your business's curb appeal or increase energy efficiency that can save big money. Helpful links to other programs outside the city are also below to help business owners find support and tools for success. Staff is available to answer questions and provide contact information for other resources Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

CITY PROGRAMS

Business License Reserve Fund - Annual grants to eligible agencies and both Business Improvement Districts to support entrepreneurs in Richland. 

Commercial Façade Improvement Program - Grants to Richland businesses and commercial property owners to improve building facades and prevent blight.

Commercial Lighting and Energy Efficiency Program - Loans, rebates and incentives for Richland businesses to increase energy efficiency by upgrading lighting, HVAC, windows and doors, and select other improvements.

Business Passport Program - Provides and opportunity for businesses to offer deals and discounts to local shoppers through the city's Passport program. View the Passport PSA.

Washington VERTical Innovation Cluster - is a vast coalition working together to accelerate the deployment of next-generation nuclear and other advanced carbon-free energy technologies for a sustainable future.
